Strawberry Crepes

Ingredients

  • Basic Crepes
  • ¾ pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons strawberry jam or preserves, divided
  • Chocolate sauce, optional
  • Whipped cream, optional

Directions

  1. Prepare Basic Crepes. Place a piece of parchment paper between each crepe. Cover with aluminum foil and keep warm in a 200°F to 250°F oven.
  2. In a large bowl, toss strawberries with sugar.
  3. Place 1 crepe on a cutting board. Spread 1 tablespoon jam over crepe. Fold 1/3 toward center and fold other side over. Repeat with remaining crepes.
  4. Serve with strawberries. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
